More protections for Our Dear Leader

House guidelines for Presidential put-downs
House Rules Committee Chairwoman Louise Slaughter (D-NY) has released a helpful, updated primer for members regarding their conduct on the floor and in committees

House member can not:
• call the President a “liar.”
• call the President a “hypocrite.”
• describe the President’s veto of a bill as “cowardly.”
• charge that the President has been “intellectually dishonest.”
• refer to the President as “giving aid and comfort to the enemy.”
• refer to alleged “sexual misconduct on the President’s part.” wow, good one, this is known as Bill's bill

I think the dems called W all of these, except the last one.

I believe these rules are as old as congress itself. I understand they are taken from something called the Jefferson manual. I am making an assumption Jefferson refeers to Thomas.

Although I tend to agree with Congressman Wilsons comments, delivering them while the President is addressing a joint session of Congress drops him to the level of code pink.

If Pelosi forces him to the floor to accept a reprimand I hope MC Wilson remembers Ben Franklins experience in the "pit" of Parliment. If I remember correctly he stood for two days listening to members berate him (and his cause). When it ended he thanked Parlament for its time and went on to France.

Sometime you gotta eat a little sh*t for what you believe in.
