that doesn't look like much competition there for either one of them. i'll take the cobras over the phantomz any day. at least the cobras have a coach that is respected, unlike the phantomz who have a real wierdo coaching them. he sure did put his foot in his mouth one too many times on here and thank goodness we never hear from him anymore

he does have a sleeper on his team though, i will say that much.

i think the top 4 teams for 10u in the houston area ARE: cobras ..tps99 .. crossfire..kingwood..they have the better coaching staff and stronger girls...phantomz lost the best pitcher to crossfire..lost the best catcher to tps.. crossfire also got one of the best pitchers alvin rage99 had..kingwood is struggling a little with the pitching but should come around it is fall season and they have a good batting line up..cobras have the same group of girls it looks like they have a strong batting line up n solid defense n they will be in the top 2 teams this year.. tps99 has a few new girls making them stronger they lost a catcher to kingwood but got phantomz catcher ..tps has the better hitting team and solid defense... we probably wont hear ANGEL BALL BABY much longer he cant seem to keep players he's pulling from league ball now..Phantomz wont be as good as he swears he will be..this weekend in baytown tps 99 beat cobras phantomz crossfire n out of control n tied kingwood...cobras beat phantomz.. crossfire.. kingwood ..out of control losing only to tps which was a great game i stayed to watch it was a nail bitter!! score was 9-5 i believe could be off by a few...phantomz lost 3 kingwood lost 3 and crossfire lost 3

This week in Baytown, from what I saw, Cobras were most constent, TPS best hitting team, and Crossfire showed the most depth & speed. Was told Crossfire was playing there first weekend after the others had played the previous week, so again, I was impressed with their depth. They were throwing a diffrent pitcher every time I walked by. If TPS secures better pitching, and Crossfire bats come around, those are the two to watch out for. It's a long season and of course just the fall, but from what I saw in Baytown, (right now) I would rank the top three as Cobras, TPS, and Crossfire.

I always thought the Saying "Angel ball Baby" made the Angels sound like a Rec. All-star team with pretty bows in their hair, mis matched swirly socks, listening to Hanna Montana, and eating snow cones in the dugout. Definitely not who the Pasadena Angels where last year but whoever came up with that slogan really doesn't get it or needs to step aside and re-evaluate their role in the decision making process. 8-)

It is not hard to tell who this poster is. I bet it was really hard not to just jump right out there and beat your chest about beating the Cobras!!( I bet you stayed to watch it!! It is hard to leave when your kid is playing the game that you are watching!! ;) ) I would have to disagree with your stating that "the Phantomz lost the best pitcher and apparently the best catcher". Maybe that is just your assumption in that both of those players were the best that the Phantomz had. Or are you saying that they are the best pitcher and catcher in 10U?? Either way, you are wrong on both accounts. I know you have an inside track on every team out there because you have played for just about every one of them. How many hats do you have hanging in your closet? You obviously know something about Angel Ball Baby, especially since you feel the need to post about them getting league ball players. I have picked up a girl that has not played a whole lot of league or select ball, but with some practice, she will be one of the better pitchers in this area. She did really well this past weekend and will only continue to get better. I bet it is hard to post things on here about the team you are playing on and act like an outside or third person. I just wonder whose team ya'll will wind up on in the spring of next year. It doesn't appear you can stay on one team for very long.

There was some good softball played in Baytown but there was also some horrible softball played too... My team, for one, did not look too good but it is still very early and there is lots of time to get it together. I am not worried one bit about my team and when the going gets going come next spring, we will be ready, I guarantee that!!

I would like to say congrats to the pitcher that pitched against us in the Crossfire game. She was really on her game and did a great job. I can see that all the hard work your daddy has put in with you has taken affect girl, you were awesome!!

Mark

PS: If the poster is not who I think it is, I apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused anybody else that is reading this.

I'm not sure who i'm supposed to be or who you are talking about but , my daughter does not play for any team listed , I just saw good games this weekend and noticed players have switched around it usually happens in the fall.My daughter as much as i love her she is not on the level of play as most girls on the better teams I'm just glad we are not in league ball !! I'm not sure i would put what team she plays on due to the fact of your comments and knocking another player and parent around.I'm still new to this website but i have heard of your actions and am really shocked for your team and players,i do wish you and your team luck this season as i do all the other teams out there ...lets play ball !!
