You have a very good softball mind and an excellant eye for talent and teams that are good at what they do. The Sting org. will get out and mix it up with the best, and most of the time come out on top or very close to it. My point is all I hear is talk about the Red Hots when they play up to 14. I come back to 1 of my statements, anyone can play up to 14 and lose. Come play with the 12's and beat the Sting and the high voltage and tps97 and tps 98 and then say you are the team to beat. You can't as a 12u go by what you do in 14u.
I know the Red Hots have a good organization and are a tough team to beat and I take my hat off to them. My intent is not to insult them are any other organization.
Red Hots as the #1 in 12u need to prove to all the 12u teams that they deserve to be #1.
Look at it from the Red Hots, High Voltage etc. point of view. As a first year team they played and beat the second year twelve’s from last year. They are not really thinking about playing the 98’s or young 97’s and I can see why. They did not play any last season, so those teams are not really on their radar. The way they see it is they want to keep playing the teams they know are strong, not go out and prove they should win against a younger team. It’s simple, if you want a crack at them sign up in the same tourney as 14U or whatever they are in, just don’t think they are ducking you by not signing up for a mostly 98 tourney. I’ll bet they will be in 12U at Ronald McDonald and Katy Christmas Classic. So wait till then or go chase em.
