Yes.
Is there a specialist you have to see, or special medication they prescribe for those who willingly take it up the poop chute?

By the time Obama is done, each household will owe far more than $1 million dollars, and debt service will constitute fully 40% of the annual federal budget. And this doesn't even include all of the debt being accumulated by irresponsible liberal governments at the state and local levels. As any economist will tell you, the detrimental affects that this will have on our economy (productivity, job market, investment climate, talent retention, etc.), not to mention tax revenue base, are astronomical. And of course standards of living, including such things as access to decent health care, will fall off dramatically.
Does that sound compassionate, or remotely responsible, to you? In all seriousness, if you continue to support Obama's plans for the future of this country now that they have been laid out, I can conceive of no other explanation but that your brains are addled.

Don't forget the debt that Bush ran up to finance the wars he started. Also TARP was a Bush policy.
But... if you know anything about economics, you will realize that our economy is driven by consumers and businesses spending money. That is not happening, as you can plainly see. So, the government has to spend money to keep the economy going. Deficit spending is in fact sound economic policy in the long run, as the economy improves, so does tax revenues, which the govt. slows down spending, and we have a surplus, which pays off the debt. This has happened before, it will happen again. It's happened in the US, and countless other capitalist countries. Be mindful of your history.
