Don't know what world you live in but crime happens everywhere. I never stated you or your organization, I don't even know who you are, Joe.

If you feel like my post was attacking YOU, I apologize. I'm simply stating my opinion.
I work in law enforcement so maybe I do have a better clue of things. Not all crimes get reported in fact most don't.

It's very sad that there are some dishonest people out there but there are, even some people that travel with the teams!
If parks in North Texas are more crime free than other area than more power to you, ya'll got a great system with handling things.

Hold up bro'...

I thought you said "it pretty much happens at all parks" AND, then some nonsense about "crooked teams".

You said it. Now prove it!

My post was meant "in general" but if you want to read it as "word for word" than you're correct I apologize for making a broad statement about CRIME in ballparks but I have to ask you, what specific facts do you have that says no cars have never been broken into at North Texas ballparks???
No team in North texas has never had personal items, equipment, bats, balls, etc stolen?

So you're saying there has never been a crime at the ball parks in North Texas?? Thats great, now how bout you share some tips on how to keep ours crime free!

For some strange reason I feel like you're looking for an argument, u not gonna find it here.
I didn't come to heybucket looking for an E-fight.
Have a good evening Joe, if we ever meet I'll buy u a beer and we can discuss some fastpitch.
I've heard nothing but great things about the teams up north.
Have a good nite buddy.

Here are a few items they have been "misplaced" at parks in the DFW area, is North Texas included as DFW??...I really have no idea considering I'm from the Central Texas area.

Got this off (fastpitchdsoftballdotnet) lost/found section.........

My Daughter lost her IPOD this weekend in Forney, please shoot me an email to see if it's hers.
Thanks,

One of our players left her bat in the grass back by the cages, when we went back after our game to grab it, it was gone, coaches & players, please check your bat bags. The bat is a very used Light Red Worth bat, please contact us, if you find it.
Thank you,

817-832-7714 lost a very small camcorder that was in a black velvet bag after our game Saturday in Desoto at the 12U tournament. It looks like a small camera. I just bought it last week and it has video of my child on it. Please email me if you found it. I will be forever grateful! (e_luddeke@yahoo.com)

I lost/left my Yellow Softball bucket that was handed to us at checkin. Was a full bucket of softballs and had Texas Elite lineup cards. I forgot it at High Point park. If anyone found it please contact me at the # below. Thanks in advance...

Okay then...

Anyone with a Longhorn reference is excused at least once.

Thanks,

You missed a little detail on this post. Initial poster found the item and is looking for the DD that lost it. Misplacing and leaving items at the park, is a little different than getting your car window bashed in.

All the teams in Houston area have been getting robbed by blues in Sugarland for years and now the thiefs are stealing from us in the parking lot...how ironic...You would think they could get a cop or 2 to sit in the parking lot in a small city like this and if I am not mistaken that park is owned by the city...we are there this weekend I hope something gets put in place by then to stop the theft...and as for the umpire situation I have come to the conclusion it will never get addressed. : I have given up on that... :geek: out...safe....IDK....what is the rule

We had one of our parent’s cars broken into at Southbelt this past weekend and there is usually a police car and bicycle patrol in the parking lot at El Franco Park. Bottom line crime happens everywhere and thieves are opportunistic. Leave your valuables in plain view and you are just asking to get your car broken into.

Yes. We just noticed some break-ins at Southbelt last week, and I know that Pearland has had its problems. I've guess I have been lucky. Maybe my car doesn't look it has any prizes in it.
