Olympian Clinic - Southlake

by Tuggey » Mon Nov 16, 2009 7:07 pm

Southlake Girls Softball is hosting a fall clinic with US Olympians Tairia Flowers, Natasha Watley and this year's guest for pitching instruction, Monica Abbott.

IF IT'S TOO COLD OR BAD WEATHER WE WILL BE IN THE CARROLL INDOOR FOOTBALL FACILITY.

We will keep this clinic at a low number of registrants to ensure quality instruction with a nominal fee of $150 for the main clinic on Saturday and Sunday, December 5th and 6th, from 12-4pm (camp t-shirt included).

We also have specialty clinics this year that will be held right before the main clinic both days at a cost of $30.

Specialty clinics include:

[*]Beginner, Intermediate and advanced slapping (Natasha Watley)
[*]Catching skills and drills and advanced catching (Tairia Flowers)
[*]Intermediate and advanced Pitching (Monica Abbott)

We also have a clinic for pitcher and catcher combinations where Abbott and Flowers will go over working together against a batter.

Specialty clinics are available for all girls in the main clinic and at 9:15 am on Sunday, all three Olympians will have a Q and A on what it takes to play softball in college.

We have some spots still open, however, we will close the clinic sign ups at the end of this week. If you have any girls interested, registration can be completed at http://www.SGSA.org under the clinic tab.

Thank you,
SGSA

Papa coach are you gonna stalk Tuggey from here on out? You sound pretty determine to drag Southlake TD down. Whats wrong did your team get the short end of the tiebreaker? Whatever it was one of your coaches has already came on here and said it was the best decision although not a favorable decision for your team. Fair or unfair get over it and stop making a spectacle of yourself and your team. I am sure the rest of your team has gotten over it. At least one of your coaches has shown some class trying to squash the subject.
