I have to admit you were easy. I've already admitted my call sign to a few, but what really pissed me off was several of my fellow 14U'ers thinking I was Lori- you know who you are!
As for the original subject, it's hard to pick well coached teams. There are several that may be well coached with no recruiting finesse, and vice versa. Here goes:
94, both 95's, and 94 Elliott- Glory teams. You may like them, you may hate them, but there has to be something to their coaching abilities purely on wins vs losses. I've seen Elliott's practice and it was well run. I've played against all 4 and they look like they all have a plan rather than just "go play and have fun".
Fusion- the older team is well put together, they have strong players in every category. I've seen their practices, well run. Very motivating on the field too. As for the younger Fusion team, I have high hopes for them now that they got rid of those 2 horrible coaches. Tons of young talent there if someone can just put it together.
Elite- another team with tons of talent, missing 1 or 2 positions, will continue to come together with this springs new coaching and players. Well run, hard, productive practices.
95 Travelers- I love watching this team play. They're fun to watch, have some big personalities, and can get the job done.
I'm obviously familiar with this area/age group and sure there are more. I can think of 3 more off the top of my head that are well-coached in my opinion but just don't have the depth of talent that the above teams do.
Here's the question I posed to my husband the other night- why can't some of these talented teams push through to consistent placing every weekend? His response was coaching, well thanks for the clarification, genius. I'm going to pay a little more attention this weekend and see if I can't narrow that down.
