If it truly is with the Peppers than you have once again displayed your true colors. It was just about a month ago when there was all the talk about Midland and you guys picking up with them because they were going ASA and the Phantoms were probably going USFA. If memory serves me correctly, I believe you stated on here that Phantoms come first.
Now I'm sure you will come on here and say how everyone on both sides is fine with the arrangement and in the end you are only doing what is best for your DD. Or maybe you will make the comment that this is what she really wants to do or how you left the decision up to her. But, if that is the case, I think that is part of the problem. Not just with you but with many other parents I know. Passive parenting. The idea that a 13 year old girl knows more than her parents and therefore is left with the decision making process. Hey I know parenting is not easy and all of us wants to be best friends with our kids, but it doesn't always work out that way. You have to sometimes make hard decisions while parenting that may be unpopular with your kids. Like I have stated before I dont really know your situation, but it looks like you started with one team, their goals changed and you got a better offer from another team. So you jump ship. I understand! But at the same time I am not sure what you are teaching your kid. Perhaps you didnt do a good enough job in your initial research when trying to pick a team for the Spring.
